Parent Leadership Council

The Parent Leadership Council (PLC) is a group of parent volunteers who work with the staff and executive leadership to plan programming that is relevant to our students’ interest and abilities, as well as overseeing the many day-to-day needs. The PLC serves 1 year terms and meets at least once a month with the creative teams & staff for brainstorming and strategic planning.

Teaching & Directing Staff

Shalen Espinoza (Teacher/Director) is a Virginia native and has been a Nashville resident for over six years. Taking the stage at just the age of three, acting and singing were her prime passions. Professional theatre: Centipede in James and the Giant Peach, Assorted Characters in A Seussified Christmas Carol, and production designer of [title of show]. College theatre includes: Eve in Children of Eden, Jenny in Big Fish: The Musical, Katherine Wiley in Radium Girls, and Norando the Great/Parrot in The King Stag. High school theatre: Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast and Florence in The Curious Savage. She is excited about teaching this year and is looking forward to a season of new collaborations!

Morgan Underwood¬†is a Maury County native who began her life onstage at the tender age of six. A product of local community theatre, Morgan’s love for the stage lead her to Middle Tennessee State University where she earner her degree in Theatre. She also has an intense love of early childhood education and enjoys combining the two whenever possible.
